Touchdown

Posted by Walter (Watkinsville, United States) on 2 October 2008 in Sport & Recreation and Portfolio.

Landon got behind the defense and pulled down this ball right in front of me. Shooting from the endzone without a flash poses lots of issues with light. Football fields are lit from the sides to keep out of the players way when making catches like this one. Upping to 3200 allowed me to get a nice silhouette of this touchdown pass.

Great catch of a great catch!!!!! i know what you mean about lighting on the fields - tough to work with sometimes.

These really work, Walter. The pixelization does become apparent in the night sky - but a small sacrifice to the splendid detail and action your capturing.

wonderful capture of the moment, working in that light must be a challenge, but you worked through that minimal noise apparent wonderful work
