The Transplant

Posted by Walter (Watkinsville, United States) on 10 November 2008 in Sport & Recreation and Portfolio.

William transferred schools for his senior year after his parents moved from NJ to Athens, GA. A seemingly big adjustment for a 17 year old boy to pick up and move, he has made it look easy. He has joined a successful football program and become an integral part of the Spartans success this year. Scoring yet another touchdown during his last regular season game against Social Circle, William celebrated with his teammate after the score.

I am glad for your son -- that's great because it's a hard adjustment. For one thing, it helps a lot that his Dad is proud of him enough to come out and take pictures and take an interest. Thanks for sharing.

@GJC: Thanks for the compliment on the photo, however I cannot take credit for the player. I have one more on the team but he is currently hurt and on the sidelines. But to go with your thoughts, I have enjoyed watching them from the sidelines. I do have a few photos of my boys playing, find one here. He is #52, the blocker.
